Book V - A Most Unique Cat

Book V is in pre-release form ... and Books I, II and IV are entered for the Golden Kite.
Sadly, there are cover issues holding up Book III. That one is my favorite, I confess. It will be ready soon. Book V was almost called 'A Most Unusual Cat' and as such, I keep going to type this. Unusual/unique ... which cat do we mean, anyway? Feynman? The Tabby?
Finally it was 'unique' that won the day. When you read it, I hope you'll understand why.

The 2nd marketing stage for the UK has begun. Gradually, quietly, gently the books get out and the adventures of the girls are enjoyed. How I'd love them to be in someone's Christmas Stocking.

As Christmas nears I'm getting ready for a visit from the Oxford Connection (a family member), which will be great. That county, Oxfordshire is so pretty. If I had time I'd go there again soon, but that trip will have to wait until July/August 2011. Besides, I have Book VI to complete. It's a work in-progress, lighter than Book V. Meanwhile the ideas for Book VII are coming thick and fast. When will these girls stop having so many adventures ??? (as if I want them to ... they are too much fun by halves!)

It's been a good season for writing and for living.
Yesterday my team won the World Series against a noble opponent ... A Brilliant Match!
It doesn't get much better than that.

New developments in the series. Book V is now Book VI, and vice versa. I'm currently writing Book V, researching the cat species Leopardus pardalis. They sound an awful lot of work to have as pets. If you have one, I'd appreciate hearing from you. The issue of keeping this species healthy (& alive) by encouraging owners to participate in captivity breeding programs is a double-edged sword.

Writing is easy when the weather outside is so cold, damp & bleak. This is the house Charles Dickens lived in (not really, but it feels like it). The new storyline is cheering me up. Once again I cannot decide which character I like the best. Perhaps it's Jin, this book. No, make that Meera. I also haven't decided if Feynman will die or not. This is worrisome. Perhaps I need to have this indecision to write in a worried voice. I certainly am fearful for him. Poor Feynman. I wish I could tell you more, but it's still being born.
